The Michigan State Soccer EWPA is widely known as one of the most competitive and organized college ID camps in the nation. Our camp is open to high school boys in their sophomore year and older (including JUCO players or other current college students with appropriate NCAA documents). This will be a great opportunity for prospects to train like our players at MSU as well as be evaluated by the MSU coaching staff as well as many other college coaches (see link on the left of webpage for programs that have attended in the past). We had over 30 institutions alone at our Elite Winter Prospect Academy last year!
The camp dates are set for SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 2nd and SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 3rd in East Lansing, Michigan. All sessions will take place at the Duffy Daugherty Indoor Football Building located adjacent to the Clara Bell Smith Center on Shaw Lane across the street from Spartan Football Stadium!
Camp check-in will begin on Saturday, 2/2 around 9 am and sessions will run through 7 pm that day. On day 2, Sunday, 2/3, session will begin around 8:30 am and run until noon. Lunch will be provided on Saturday as part of your registration fee. All players will receive Nike Training Tops with individual #s for coaches’ evaluation purposes.
The cost of this great event is only $245 – which includes ALL administrative fees. Please click on the link below to register as we will only have approximately 72 field player spots and approximately 8 GK spots.
WHAT TO BRING:
Prospects need to bring adequate training apparel: a ball, shinguards, BLACK SOCCER SOCKS, BLACK SOCCER SHORTS, running shoes and/or indoor soccer shoes for strength and conditioning, and a pair of firm ground cleats and/or turf cleats (training surface is Field Turf). There is a possibility of walking outside some in the cold, so please bring necessary clothing to be prepared, if necessary.
Check-in and camp welcome will begin at the Smith Center Auditorium (282 W. Shaw Lane, East Lansing, MI 48824). All sessions will take place inside the Duffy Daugherty Indoor Football Center. These are both located on Shaw Lane, South of Spartan Stadium. Parking is available in the South stadium lot. Download a Campus Map Here.
*NOTE: Travel and lodging arrangements are the sole responsibility of each camper. The only food provided will be lunch on Saturday, February 2nd.
Your camp fee, less a $75 administrative fee will be refunded if you cancel within one week prior to camp (Jan 25th). At any time after that date, refunds will be made due to medical reasons only and must be accompanied by a signed medical statement on letterhead from your physician.
Your confirmation e-mail will include two documents that are required to be completed and either e-mailed (firstname.lastname@example.org) or faxed (517-432-1047) to Assistant Coach Micah Collins. These documents are the Medical Treatment Authorization Form and Concussion Awareness Form. Links for these are also included on this website to the left.
